Where can I rent a motorhome? We have a listing of all of our motorhome rental centers on the web site. Use this link to access the ""Rental Centers"" page. On the map, chose the state which you would be renting from and you will be given a list of all rental centers in that state. The listing includes the direct address and telephone number of the rental center. Back to top The staff at the rental center will be glad to direct you to the closest shopping center, fueling facilities and waste treatment center. If I have to pay for any miles over the coverage limit what can I expect to pay? Basic/Basic PLUS membership includes up to 5 miles of towing at no additional cost. Premium/Premium PLUS membership includes up to 100 miles of towing at no additional cost. Should you require towing beyond your covered limits, the cost is typically between $2-$3 per mile. Note: It has been our experience that these rates can be considerably higher in some metropolitan areas. For instance, in Southern California (Los Angeles, San Diego) the cost can be as much as $8-12 per mile. When can I pick up the motorhome? Cruise America is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The normal pick up time is between 1 and 4 p.m. and the normal return time is between 9 and 11 a.m. Over the weekend, many rental centers have abbreviated hours of operation. The time of pick up may be earlier than 1-4 p.m. Rental Centers are closed on Sundays and Holidays. Before you finalize any plans for pick up or return on the weekend, please confirm the locations hours of operations with us or the rental center. How is a rental day calculated? When you rent a motorhome from Great Alaskan Holidays, days are calculated just like a hotel. You count the number of nights you occupy the motorhome. For example, a seven day rental would run from Tuesday to Tuesday. You may pick up and return the motorhome any day of the week." Can we smoke in the vehicle? We operate a no smoking policy to maintain the freshness of the vehicle for the benefit of all our clients. Curtains and upholstery cost in excess of ??60 to dry clean, and we reserve the right to pass on this charge if hirers smoke in the vehicle.We are happy to show people around our vehicles but they are generally out on hire. Please enquire as to availability.You can leave your car with us for the duration of the hire free of charge, this is entirely at the owner's risk and we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage. Please be aware that we need to retain the keys to any vehicle left with us in case of emergency. Where can I go? Anywhere in the United Kingdom.
