If you can not dive but prefer to snorkel then there are many safe places near the shore where you can do this. You will be amazed by the many different exotic tropical fish that you will see and if you are lucky you will see turtles too. Hawaii provides a great underwater experience and you should not miss it. Great Places to Visit on Vacation in Hawaii Wherever you go in Hawaii you will have many things that you want to do and see. A great vacation is guaranteed and you will be able to keep as busy as you want or just relax on the beach if you prefer. If you are interested in history then some of the best places to visit are Pear Harbor near Honolulu and close to the USS Missouri and Arizona. You can also visit some very interesting museums, zoos and aquariums, tropical hiking trails, cycle rides and of course the live volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you love water sports then Hawaii is a world beater with windsurfing, surfing and kite surfing available almost everywhere. In the winter season you will see world champions practicing and competing in the huge surf and waves that arrive at this time of year.
