Video blogging a.k.a. Vlogging is one of the newest rages. Thanks to Youtube, video sites have popped up everywhere (Youtube is still the king:even Google Video knew that) and putting videos online for just about anything including tutorials became a part of the life of many people. It follows that blogging through Youtube would be the next step. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. For personal blogging, video blogging works with people on the internet expressing themselves. Some people will find it easier and more fun to just put a camera in front of themselves and start talking. And there are many people out there who just love to browse youtube and video sites, kind of like watching television but in three to eight minute entertaining segments instead of half hour shows. Now if you put this on a business prospective, you can see a a lot of benefits. Think of it as a powerful method in showing your prospective customers your line of products or your services. It's just like showing a commercial but for free. Now on the web, things are pretty much static, unlike in television in which all are moving. If you post something that is mobile, it would most likely catch attention. Now imaging your product parading in all it's royalty through video blog. This is definitely a (so far) underused method of blogging. The good news is that video logging is fairly cheap in money and resources. You just need a digital camera these days, possibly some video editing skills, and a computer with internet connection. You don't even necessarily need to go and buy video editing software because Windows comes free with Windows Movie Maker and Macs come free with iMovie. I have personally used both and they are both very rich in features. Video blogging can be just as simple as you sitting in front of your camera talking. You can also incorporate photos into your video or other videos into your video. With some practice you can put together some very professional looking videos for your video blog! From a small business standpoint, you can definitely use this as a tool to build your business. For online journaling, it's just a way to get more exposure and have more fun. So go to it and start a blog video! About the Author: Want more info on how to start a blog and all things blogging?
