The results that they achieved will also be taken into consideration, as if you are paying extortionate prices and are still not satisfied with the progress of your case, then surely something is going wrong. Most lawyers will not want to see this issue go to the courts, so if you feel as if you have a valid argument, then you should contact your lawyer first and try to get them to reduce their prices to a rate that you are more comfortable with, before going to the courts; however, if this fails and your finances are still being exploited, then you should definitely pursue the case further.
