Scholarship is when an individual is provided financial assistance to pursue any learning exercise. There are two major forms of scholarship. First is when the learning can be done in any desired institute whereas the second is limited to a certain specified institutions. Two main procedures for awarding the scholarship exists and the institution can follow any one of them. The first method is to select the scholarship candidate even before the admission forms are made public while the second is to provide them once admission has been taken and the candidate has started studying. A separate application form for scholarship exists while in some cases, this section is included in the main form itself. The date and time of applying for the scholarship is decided by the authorities. All applications received within the given time frame are evaluated while those received otherwise have dim chances. In the most general cases, the applications should be submitted half a year before the actual scholarship period has to start. Filling an application form would mean extra charges subject to buying the form and any overhead charges included by the institution. These have to be paid for by the applicant which requires him to save up enough. Write a short letter describing yourself and why you are suitable for the scholarship and attach it with the application form to enable the judges to evaluate you better.
