One of the main risks in connecting to the Internet is that you uncover yourself to threats in the type of spyware, adware, and other malicious software. These can be hard to sense, and can have a negative consequence on your computer's performance, which in turn will directly have an influence on your Internet experience, so it's eminent to be able to detect when you've downloaded some kind of spyware or adware program.
