There are several places to find duck hunting games on the internet, in video arcades and for home game consoles. Some of these games are gory and very realistic, while others are almost cartoonish and designed for kids. I remember playing Duck Hunt on the first Nintendo when I used to be a kid back in the 80s. Video games and duck hunting games have evolved since they were introduced in the 1970s. My first Nintendo had a little gray laser light gun where I could shoot funny ducks on the TV screen. If you look at duck hunting games of today, they are almost real and true to life. When you go to the video arcade, the games are very complicated and expensive. I have not found an arcade that has duck hunting games like they use to have back in the 1990s. The graphics in old school duck hunting games are outdated compared with modern video games that simulate situations in life with almost pure reality. These new shooting games are so real that you almost feel like you are part of the video game. Video games now are more about making money and shooting things violently than having fun with your friends for a few hours. It can cost several dollars to play some of the more recent video arcade games. I can't even remember when every video game was a quarter. That's back when I was a kid like 20 years ago! I just wish that I could find a video arcade somewhere that had more of the classic games like I used to play when I was growing up. One time I even rode my bike over three and a half miles to get to this huge video arcade. I just wish I had not wasted so much time playing duck hunting games and other Nintendo games. I quit playing video game on both my laptop and Nintendo Wii and sold them at a garage sale. My nephew is so addicted to video games that I just decided to stop playing them altogether so I would not end up like a complete video game junkie. Playing duck hunting games for a few minutes is a good way for me to escape and have fun. It is not like playing Halo where I would play for hours and totally disrupt my daily and weekly routine because I had to finish the next level.
