It is no secret that Guitar Hero 3 is a very addictive game. More than likely, you have played some of the earlier versions, but you will find that to become a master player at this game, it is going to take a bit more effort than the previous titles. Lucky for you, I am about to spill my secrets so you dont have to go through the same frustrations that I did when I was first learning how to play at the higher skill levels. Most people make the mistake of trying to jump right into the game and see how far they can go before they really take the time to actually train their hands and fingers how to use the controller. By slowing down on the front end of your game experience and laying the proper foundations, you will find that you will progress through the more challenging levels without as much frustration and stand a better chance of actually beating the game. The first level of the game is deceptively easy and most people find themselves blowing through without taking the time they should to familiarize themselves with the game and how it is played. Rushing through these early games without spending the time to learn the necessary game play techniques will leave a player unable to progress in the higher levels. You should also take the advancement of levels at a slower pace. I know when I first started playing I breezed right through the easy level, struggled a little bit with the medium level and then got murdered on the expert levels. I had actually just put the game away until one of my buddies shared some of these tips with me and within a few weeks, I was shredding like a master! Although it is always nice to learn the basics of any game in private without the distractions of other people around, Guitar Hero 3 is one of those games where it is really handy to have a friend move through the levels with you to help you work through the hard patches and share learned techniques. When you are playing alone, it is pretty easy to get frustrated and just put the game away. When you are playing in co-op mode, you are playing for both you and your friend and that little extra bump may be all you need to put you over the top in Guitar Hero 3.
