Never before has there been more incentive to save money on items both large and small. Perhaps the most important area for saving money is on high priced electronic items like computer gaming consoles, digital cameras, MP3 players and notebook computers. For the unfamiliar, a netbook is essentially a stripped down laptop with a smaller overall footprint, less robust feature set and smaller, less powerful internal components. Among the cheapest options listed on Amazon, none is cheaper than the Asus Aspire One netbook, which is listed at just $280. The Aspire has a screen size of just 8.9-inches and features a beautiful pink exterior for those looking to attract the attention of envious onlookers. Of course, there are a multitude of other sites on the web offering fantastic deals on the products you desire. One such site that I regularly frequent is Slickdeals - a site where users scour the web for unheard of deals for a wide variety of products. Typically, the most attractively priced items will only last for a few hours before they are sold out, but the deals that can be had are astonishing. I was able to purchase a very nice HP laptop for well below the manufacturer's suggested retail price through Slickdeals.
