Derek Jeter has been playing baseball for many years and by now he has earned the respect of many other baseball players. Who thought that after playing baseball in high school he would end up playing for the New York Yankees? Derek Jeter is without a doubt one of the most sought after and most successful baseball player. He started playing in the major league in 1995 and he made his way to a successful rookie year and he also received many rookies of the year honors. His famous career has made him a popular choice for many advertisers like Nike, Ford and many others. He has earned his fame by playing for one of the best baseball team that ever existed, the New York Yankees and as a member on that team they won four World Series championships in the first five years in the league.
