Are you sick and tired of working for someone else? Or is the economy affecting your job and your life? Do you want to start making money on line?

If you would. Then just keep reading to find out what I have layed out for you. It's a simple way to break into the online business world.

I know it's not easy to trust somebody you've never met. Especially on line. People thought I went over the edge when they heard I was starting an online business. They would tell me things like: don't trust this one or that one or I can't believe you're wasting your time with that garbage. I didn't listen to them. I knew that I was on to something that could change my life forever.

I know this information will get you started in the right direction. It's an outline that many people have used for success.

The first thing you need to think about is this: choosing what topic or niche you'd like your business to be about.

This is important. If what you are passionate about has enough interest to bring you in a good amount of traffic, that would great. You'll need to find this out through on line research.

Go to sites like google news, ask.com, and yahoo answers. They will let you see what is fashionable right now. Once you find something that may interest you, dig down into it to see if there are subniches. If there are, then take those sub niches and dig down deeper still. The less untapped a niche is, the more chance for you to have success with it.

Now you'll want to go grab a free keyword tool, like the one that google provides. It's time to do some keyword research.

Enter your topic and then search. Look for words or phrases that get a good monthly search, but not flooded with competition. The more competition, the harder it will be for you to be seen. More searches, less competition is what you want. It's not easy though, so don't obsess over it.

Once you have found, what you hope to be, a profitable niche, you'll need to go to Clickbank and find a product to promote.

Here you will find a gigantic marketplace of downloadable digital products. Over 100,000 affiliates go here. You can signup for free. By the way, there's always a fresh stock of new products to choose from. Daily.

So go signup with clickbank, get your affiliate ID and don't lose it. Now go find a product that you'd like to promote.

Now go get your affiliate link from the product that you're going to promote. You will use this on your site or webpage and try to get people to click on it. This will take them to the sales page of the product you've chosen. If a sale is made, you'll earn a commission. Don't forget to buy a domain name for that affiliate link. It's long and it's ugly, haha. Check out GoDaddy.com.

Affiliates love clickbank because they have a very high commission payout.

Again, and I know I already mentioned this, but this outline is meant to point you in the right direction. Each stop along the way requires some specific work.

Ok. You have your product to promote. Now you need to set up a little webpage or landing page because you need to start driving potential buyers to the sales page. Try Wordpress or start with a great little site called Squidoo! Google loves squidoo and wordpress! Both have a massive amount of tutorials and such to get you going.

Google likes it when you have your own little page rather than sending people straight to the sales page(direct linking). Having a landing page will get you more traffic, which means you'll start to make money on line quicker.

It's time to start sending traffic to your site.

There's a couple of ways that you can drive traffic to your site. You can either do this manually, which takes time. This is also known as organic traffic. Examples of this are: Blogs, Squidoo, Ezine advertising, Article marketing, getting involved in forums, etc. The other method is paying for it. Don't get into this until you have a lot of content of your own out there and you've got a steady cash flow coming in. Examples of this are: Pay per click and solo ads in ezines.

Once you have that, then you can start to study and implement the paid marketing methods. The methods I'm referring to here are pay per click and solo ad advertyising. With pay per click, you can lose alot of money real quick because quite simply....it's complicated. Plus it's always changing.

If you are totally new to online marketing, all the terms and such may sound a bit foreign. But as you move along learning everyday, you'll have no problem with the terms. Just find yourself someone to follow who can give you all the little shortcuts and show you how to profit quickly. That's the key, finding early success, even if small.
