Having a positive frame of mind, a burning desire and a willingness to solve problems is what you need to succeed. It was discovered in experiments on brain wave activity that negative events stimulate you more than positive do. It is my belief that your brain is more stimulated by the negative because that is what you hear and see the most as you are raised. I saw recently on "Oprah" a female brain surgeon who suffered a stroke that shut down the left hemisphere of her brain. Although she was very debilitated by it, before her recovery she was in complete bliss. That gives us a clue. To purposefully operate from your right brain you can practice meditation. Neruo Linguistic Programming is also popular. Thinking positively is a choice. Your brain has two halves. One is positive the other is negative. Choose right. It was stated in the Holy Grail of success books called "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, "a burning desire is a must to achieve what one wants in life." Remember how passionate you were about getting what you wanted as a child? With a burning desire you won't let anything stand in your way of reaching your goal. Positive thinking gives you a clear picture of what you want to achieve. It is the right side of your brain that creates these pictures for you. There are many ways to create positive pictures within you. Some people use vision boards. Others can create the images in their minds. This depends on how you best learn. There is visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning. Opportunities arise from problems developing. The times we are in provide many chances to be successful. There will always be negative people causing problems. That means there will always be problems for a positive you to profit from. If you look around you I am sure you can see many issues that plague the people around you. It would not take you too long to find a solution to that problem and offer it to them. People will gladly pay to have you fix a crisis for them. Your optimistic vision coupled with your yearning to unravel a dilemma will make you a very wealthy person. You becoming successful will be encouraging to people around you. If we all do this imagine how nice a world we will live in. The economic downturn we are in today provides many opportunities to be successful. During the great depression the Rockefeller family made a fortune with this mindset you are reading about.
