Marketing does not involve trying to convince a prospect to buy a product as selling does, instead it builds relationship first with a prospect, find out the needs and supply a product to fill that need.

The successful network marketers of our time do not sell their products or the opportunity. They market themselves, then their products and ultimately the products. Marketing does not involve trying to convince a prospect to buy a product as selling does, instead it builds relationship first with a prospect, find out the needs and supply a product to fill that need.

You can also market by slowly leading a prospect through a series of follow ups that will help him recognize that he truly needs your product. Marketing allows you to be able to connect with the customer psychologically and make him to naturally desire your products even before you mention it.

Successful network marketers of our time used Internet marketing technology to create a huge success for themselves. They developed marketing funnels designed to automatically build relationships with all their prospects at the same time. This eventually helps the prospect to remember and like the marketer eventually.

When you market effectively, sometimes before you make your company products available some of the prospects will ask you to provide them with the products and they will be grateful to you for such a privilege.

Happily, shy people who are into Internet network marketing are becoming super successful while their contemporaries who are not using the Internet are busy attending seminars, making cold calls, and prospecting to everyone they see within three feet.

Unfortunately, that is the old school way of doing network marketing. It doesn't work any longer and hence no longer effective. But not realizing it is bad for those network marketers who are still using it because of ignorance and hence are not making any headway.

By the time you understand that using the Internet to market your network marketing will give it a great lift, then you would have left 99% of those network marketers who are not using technology to build their business in this very lucrative industry.

Now that you have known that marketing is a lot different from selling and that this can make your MLM business very successful, what is stopping you from using the Internet as the successful networkers are doing?
