Why do we go through the hassle of promoting affiliate products? What is that reason? To make money, of course! That are going to reward you financially with a residual income for your hard work in promoting the products? Use the right product in conjunction with the right marketing methods. This article will help you determine which products to promote by looking at a number of factors.

For each affiliate product, consider the revenue you receive. Consider promoting an affiliate product that can give you , $100 or more per sale instead of just $10 per sale. Often much harder to promote, high paying products require you to do a decent amount of research and really get to know your product and your niche. I'd much sooner spend all day chasing just one $100 sale than twenty $5 sales.

You should also check the affiliate products you are already promoting. Each day, some sales are being brought in by a particular niche product on Clickbank, you really need to be aware of this. Check Clickbank regularly to see if there are any similar niche products that have a higher payout per sale and if so, edit the links on your landing page to the new product. It requires very little effort (just the changing of a few links) to increase your weekly income quickly and simply, if you use landing pages for your affiliate marketing.

The Clickbank Gravity of the product (assuming you are using Clickbank) should also be thought about. This is a handy little feature of CB that gives you an indicator of whether other affiliates are successfully making sales of a particular product - therefore showing that the product is popular and the kind of thing people are buying. However products shouldn't be dismissed, particularly if they are new, just because they are low gravity. As there is no previous track record to go by, promoting low-gravity products could be a gamble.

Have you thought about offering recurring-payment type products rather than one-off payments? Automated recurring sales will be generated each month by promoting this product type. This type of payment setup is usually used with subscription-based services or websites, and can be a great long-term money earner. The key to a successful affiliate marketing career is knowledge, and, armed with this you now have a better chance at choosing the right affiliate product to promote.
