Golf interest is peaking. In the last few years, golf's popularity has soared. Over 100 million people a year tee off now. Younger people are getting into the act too. Golf is a fun sport, but one must have patience. If you play golf, you know that you have to be prepared with the right equipment and the patience to make the right shots. Tiger has also become a phenomenon due to his racial heritage and being an underdog when he first started professional play. Tiger won many trophies and currently has made more money from golf and endorsements than any other one person in the history of golf. Essentially, Tiger Woods has become the poster child for American golf. Consequently, Tiger Woods can be said to be the key person driving the expansion of golf viewing and playing the world over.
